Dynamac Awarded EPA Decontamination Analytical and Technical Services Contract

Dynamac Corporation is pleased to announce that EPA has awarded Dynamac the Decontamination Analytical and Technical Services (DATS) contract to support the National Decontamination Team (NDT), located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The DATS contract is a Fixed-Rate, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Award Term contract with a potential value of $26.5 million and a period of performance of five years. The contract is multidisciplinary and includes toxicology; microbiology; health physics; industrial hygiene; information technology; and experts in infection diseases, education/outreach, and HVAC systems. Dynamac's subcontractors are Battelle Memorial Institute, SRA International Inc., and URS Corporation.

As the EPA DATS contractor, the Dynamac Team will provide scientific and operational support to the NDT including technical issues surrounding the decontamination of buildings, building contents, public infrastructure, indoor environments, agriculture, and the associated environmental media (air, soil, and water) in the aftermath of a Weapons of Mass Destruction event or other catastrophic incidents of national significance. Thomas Kouris, Dynamac's Mid-Western Regional Operations Manager, will be the Program Manager for DATS.

Doug Britt, Dynamac's President & COO, stated “This is an exciting new program that will combine our scientific expertise, for which Dynamac is well known, and our expanding work and reputation as an emergency response contractor.” The DATS contract represents the third new prime contact award to Dynamac from EPA in the past 12 months. The total potential value of these new awards is $210 million.
