In February 2023, a freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed in East Palestine, Ohio spilling chemicals that contaminated surrounding soil, water, and the air. CSS Employee-Owners’ 2025 Holiday Give Back Exceeds Goal
On November 1, 2025, CSS team members launched a Holiday Give Back campaign supporting Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation based in Waynesville, NC. Atmospheric Processing System Support
The NOAA Unique Combined Atmospheric Processing System (NUCAPS) is an operational retrieval algorithm that NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Services has been using since 2002.
